Sex selection for non-medical reasons is a major controversy in around the world. Here in this paper, we presented the ethical arguments about sex selection for non-medical reasons and discuss about them in Islamic context. Significant arguments about sex selection relate to sexism and sex discrimination, sex disproportion, human dignity, playing God, psychological pressure on unselected children and other ethical issues. Main responses includes: parental autonomy, compare with their authority in using contraceptive methods or cosmetic surgery; utilitarianism and consequentialism that practically prefers sex selection that abortion; sex ratio can be protected by some legislations. Islam underscores the will of God in any human action so no one can play God and unlike Christians, the vision of Islam to the pre-implantation embryo is not a human. Our conclusion from religious, legal and ethical survey is: sex selection in family balancing type is acceptable in Islamic context with the following conditions: only for married couples, only one successful time, not for the first child not for same sex. Detail counseling should be performed with the couple about the risks and success rate. If both genders exist in family, sex selection should not be performed. If the selected child dies with any reasons, another attempt is acceptable. Sex selection clinics should act under supervision of health care authorities.

Confession, testimony and explicity of oath is considered as the written documents to prove a claim according to the article of 1285 Civil Code. This research by descriptive-analytical method and collecting data and using a comparative approach addresses the validation of oath in family litigation and investigates if the oath in family litigation merely causes the discontinuance of the action or proves it as well. Findings shows, the role of oath seems not the same in all family lawsuits. The effect of oath in litigations concerning revocation of divorce, “, Khol’, ”,divorce, marriage portion, “, Ila”,and defects is permission for terminating the marriage, settling the dispute and discontinuing legal proceedings. In litigations concerning marriage relation and impotence, the lawsuits end with an oath taken by the denier. But if the denier abstains from taking an oath, the marriage relation and impotence is proved by the oath taken by the plaintiff. In alimony litigations, the oath of the losing party on insolvency or that of the winning party on solvency are considered as proofs. The effectiveness of oath in this case, which is limited to financial matters, proves the dispute in favor of the person taking the oath. Certainhy nature witness by enclosure oath must be considered witness or special reason. But it can not be considered as oath. Artificial intelligence has proven its effectiveness in various fields, and law and solving legal issues have not been immune from this influence, its concrete applications have been observed in various legal fields, and its future capabilities are also being investigated. One of these areas is related to family law, where the presence of artificial intelligence can manage and organize many problems in decision-making well. Family law, which includes topics such as marriage, divorce and annulment, financial issues arising from it, fostering and maintenance of children, is one of the topics that the long decision-making process and referral to the courts, emotional and psychological damages increases and creates an erosion process for the parties. The help and presence of artificial intelligence, in addition to being more accurate in recognizing the personality and areas of commonality or difference between people for life or separation, can also be effective in the decision process to bring more accuracy and speed for such cases  And less harm is caused to people and their mental health, and the possibility of mistakes in decisions is reduced. Various countries have also paid attention to these applications, which are mentioned in this article as the objective applications of artificial intelligence in solving family law issues, and the capabilities and rules of its use in Iran's legal system are examined

Introduction: The ethical dimensions of agriculture need to be explored, distinguishing between ethics in agriculture and ethics of agriculture. Ethics in agriculture is traditionally based on abstract moral theory, formulated through logical reasoning, but often found inadequate to address the complex ethical challenges within agriculture due to its abstract nature and lack of practical visibility. Conversely, ethics of agriculture is approached within a context-specific framework derived from the research topic with the aim of providing more tailored solutions. Materials and Methods: A comprehensive review of the relevant literature is conducted, using a descriptive-analytical approach to provide a conceptual framework for understanding agricultural ethics. Conclusion: The article highlights the critical need for a comprehensive ethical framework to address the multifaceted ethical challenges in the agricultural sector. The importance of analyzing and resolving ethical dilemmas at all stages of agriculture is underscored in order to align practices with human ideals and to ensure ethical decision-making by stakeholders involved in agriculture.

The COVID-19 crisis has a major impact on the life of people around the world. People, their relations, their jobs and all other aspects of life have experienced change during COVID pandemic. The pandemic situation also affects the existing legal agreements such as co-parenting. Many countries issued stay-at-home orders which limited contact between people and their family and friends. This order has a great impact on families who follow court orders on co-parenting and access to the children. The COVID restrictions have created confusion and distress for them about their rights and responsibilities. The study of legal decisions in Iran and also some countries such as Australia, Canada, and Ireland show that the current COVID restrictions cannot be used as an excuse to breach the legal agreement. The existing court orders remain in place and must be respected as much as possible. However, parents may modify the existing court orders according to the situation and taking into account the best interests of the child while there is a “ reasonable excuse” . Some legal principles such as the principle of “ no harm and no loss” and the principle of “ avoiding hardship” and the article 40 of Iranian Constitution which explains that the exercise of any one’ s right cannot be in a manner that harms others. Therefore, if the decision to any change in access or custody is made based on preventing any kind of loss or harm to children which is reasonably probable, there is no civil liability nor criminal one for the breach of legal agreement. This article examines some family law issues which have been litigated regularly during COVID pandemic such as the custody and access during COVID, lock-down and quarantine and access to the courts, and different ways to inform people about their legal rights and responsibilities and any modification to them during COVID-19.

Background and Aim: The purpose of this study is to identify the mental and objective priorities of social issues related to the family from the perspective of citizens. Method: The present research has utilized a survey methodology. data collected via a researcher-made questionnaire. The sample size was estimated to be 384 people using Cochran's formula. To prevent sample loss, data of 400 people were collected by multi-stage cluster sampling method. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software. Results: Comparing the average prioritization of social issues in the field of family in both mental and objective dimensions indicates that the average mental dimension of each issue is higher than the objective average, citizens' concerns and concerns about the issues studied are more than observed; There is also a significant difference between mental and objective prioritization between men and women. Conclusion: In general, problems, issues and injuries are understood and discussed by people in a subtler and objective way. It is suggested that considering the fact that mental perceptions and definitions can be examined, family officials should take a more effective step to address issues and injuries and prevent crime by referring to the mental priorities of citizens.

How is murder statistics in the city of Yazd, Yazd province, especially in the years 2006 to 2009? In this paper, the statistical description of first-degree murder in the years 2006 to 2009 is presented. The research method is analysis of documents and the data is collected particularly form the Department of Social Affairs of Yazd police. Based on these findings, causes and motives of murder in Yazd Province are respectively moral issues, family issues, theft, financial and real estate disputes, gang violence, drug abuse and mental illness. Moral issues and family issues are among the reasons of more than half of first-degree murder s in Yazd province.
